Direct all aspects of the Biederman Entertainment and Media Law Institute, including development and supervision of faculty, curriculum, research agenda, symposia, and other programming; the entertainment law LL.M. program, local and international summer programs, and externships; and strategic planning, industry relations, and fundraising. Teach Contracts; International Entertainment Law; Law, Lawyers and the Legal System in Film; Motion Picture Production Law; and other courses as time permits.

Designed and teach Entertainment Business, Law and Finance course to MBA students.

Full-time professor teaching in the Dodge College of Film & Media Arts and the Law School. Courses taught include Contracts; Torts; Entertainment Law (separate courses for MFA Producing students and JD students); and Law, Lawyers, and the Legal System in Film, a course about movies about lawyers (open to all University students).Also taught Entertainment Law at the University of Chicago (2001 - 2006) and the University of Southern California (2007).

Instrumental in building and managing the team and infrastructure that co-financed and co-produced over sixty titles, including The Matrix trilogy, the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy, Analyze This, Three Kings, Training Day, Mystic River, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Happy Feet.Responsible for all non-creative operations, including strategic planning, finance, business and legal affairs, physical production, marketing and distribution, and human resources and administration.
