Currently a Junior year business student at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, I have a strong track record of leading and managing the Diane Fund, a cancer-based charity fund that operates under the Bone Marrow and Cancer Foundation. During my tenure as founder and leader, I have successfully overseen our team of volunteers, organized fundraising events, and managed our social media platforms. With our community-oriented approach, we have raised over $130,000 through both online and in-person fundraising efforts. We have held several successful events, including a COVID-friendly 5k, a Summer Day-of-Play, and a Basketball tournament. Our future plans involve launching more ambitious and frequent fundraising events to help more people.Working at the Diane Fund has allowed me to combine my passion for helping others with my desire to work in a fun and active team environment. I value collaboration and believe that a good work environment is key to both productivity and inclusion. My favorite part about working in a team is learning from my peers, and I highly value their input. I have also gained experience in the customer service industry as a server and cashier, which has further developed my collaboration and teamwork skills in a high-tempo environment.As I continue to grow and develop my technical skills, I am also committed to creating and maintaining quality, long-lasting relationships with my coworkers.
