Experienced Production Assistant with a demonstrated history of working in the broadcast media industry. Skilled in Adobe Premiere,After Effects, Photoshop, Avid Media Composer, and Microsoft Office. Strong arts and design professional with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused in Radio,Television, and Film from University of North Texas(UNT). During my time at UNT I learned about the different techniques and skills necessary to be a great filmmaker and editor. I took classes on learning videography, Adobe Premiere and AVID Media Composer. I created several short films. The classes I took focused on film theory, video editing techniques, audio editing and writing. UNT provided me with the base knowledge for my skills. My last job was a production assistant and I was in that position for two years. From working there I gained experience setting up and breaking down cameras for live and prerecorded events. I was also a production assistant at the UNT news station. From my experience at those places I have learned how to set ups cameras, operate teleprompters, audio boards and graphics systems during a live news cast. Working at the stations has taught me about thinking quickly on my feet and becoming a strong communicator who can clearly and quickly deliver a message. I also edit clips that show over the air and online. I have consistently been called reliable by all my employers throughout my working career. I have a passion for video production and editing. I thrive in creative environments and am always looking to grow as a media professional.
