Responsible for the day-to-day technical operations of the studio such as: trouble shooting and maintaining gear; setting up microphones and instruments; routing and patching the microphones, gear, and recording console for each session according to client specifications; documenting all gear and equipment used on each session; recalling previous recording and mixing sessions down to every detail from session documentation; printing master mixes, alternate mixes, and stem mixes to analog tape… Show more Responsible for the day-to-day technical operations of the studio such as: trouble shooting and maintaining gear; setting up microphones and instruments; routing and patching the microphones, gear, and recording console for each session according to client specifications; documenting all gear and equipment used on each session; recalling previous recording and mixing sessions down to every detail from session documentation; printing master mixes, alternate mixes, and stem mixes to analog tape and Pro Tools; calibrating analog tape machines; configuring Pro Tools I/O setups; performing computer software updates; cataloging and backing up master tapes and hard drives; managing digital files between the main studio and editing suites via the local network, and from remote clients via FTP sites. Record, edit and mix audio for all in house sessions. Manage and train staff engineers to assist me with studio operation.
