Senior Manager (International Tax)
CurrentI manage a wide portfolio of international tax issues for the Invensys Group (now part of Schneider Electric), ranging from direct tax to indirect tax to tax reporting. I help Invensys to plan for the future so that tax doesn’t get in the way of business development. I make sure that Invensys pays the right amount of tax at the right time – whether through getting our business/legal structures right, meeting our tax compliance requirements or forecasting/reporting our results.My focus is on the countries for which I’m Invensys Tax Manager (Germany, France, Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Poland and various other European jurisdictions, Middle East and North Africa region) and the Invensys Energy Controls Line of Business. However, my range is global as part of the borderless Invensys Group Taxation Team. I like the diversity within my role, but it’s nice to be regarded as the Invensys European VAT specialist and HFM tax reporting guru. Above all, it’s good to help our people answer their tax questions so they can get on with their day jobs!
