Elected by the organization's membership to serve a six year term as president-elect, president, and past president, to lead and guide the only professional organization dedicated to advocating for, protecting, and promoting the mental health counseling profession in New York.As president, I currently chair NYMHCA's Board of Directors, chair the Strategic Planning Committee, leading the mission, vision, and values development and enhancement of the organization; and chair the Committee on Government Affairs, serving as the lead legislative liaison for the organization's advocacy and legislative efforts; and serve as an active member of various organization committees, including ethics, marketing & awareness, and professional development, and technology.

The NYMHCA Institute was founded to address the increasing need for quality, accessible professional development and community education for mental health and other professionals. The Institute’s mission is to increase the knowledge and understanding of mental health, treatment, programming, and advocacy, and to bring awareness and education about mental health to communities and to provide training and resources to professionals who may interact with persons with mental health disorders.

Allied Wellness Collective is an integrated, collaborative health and wellness organization that provides mental health and related services to support the growth, development, and successes of individuals, families, and communities. Our goal is to provide our clients with holistic, wellness-focused healthcare services that address the whole person, rather than one diagnosis or issue. We believe that comprehensive healthcare requires the cooperation of all healthcare providers and that having all of those providers working together within one organization fosters more effective and efficient services for our clients.

Developed, facilitated, and presented coursework and training approved by New York State to support the professional development of clinical and para-professionals.

Administered case management and utilization review of services for inpatient treatment programs. Conducted utilization review and quality assurance audits of medical records. Developed and administered policies and procedures for utilization control of agency services. Educated program staff on current principles and standards of practice.

Primary rehabilitation counselor at the Willows inpatient substance abuse treatment center. Maintained a case load and performed essential counseling responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, assessment, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, and case management. Responsible for the facilitation of vocational education, dual diagnosis, families in recovery, grief and loss, and smoking cessation groups.

During my time at CreekSide, I was responsible for managing day-to-day operations of a clinic with 15 counselors. I managed confidential client documents, coordinated and maintained counselors’ schedules, managed operations of reception and billing departments and coordinated and processed bank deposits, third-party billing, employee benefits, and accounts payable

Former chief executive officer of the representative and governing body of the students of SUNY Oswego. As the SA president I managed executive projects, supervised staff of 12 and the campus programming board. I also maintained many voting seats on college councils and committees. I was responsible for the allocation of a 1.5+ million dollar budget. I also acted as a liaison for the students to administration and faculty

Coordinated town hall style forums for interaction with students. Collaborated with campus programming board and campus life to plan and host student organization expo and leadership conference. Acted as first contact for students to Student Association. Assisted student organizations with any activities and programming planning. Acted as liaison for Student Association to the College and other campus organizations.

Coordinated and facilitated campus wide open house visitation events produced by the Office of Admissions. Assisted other student coordinators with their responsibilities such as, communicating with the student and professional staff, creating and pursuing ideas for events, and assisting in daily tasks. Assisted professional staff with marketing and recruitment projects. Assisted with the admissions and enrollment process for new first-year and transfer students.
