NYMHCA has become a vital and effective organization in promoting recognition for the profession, while simultaneously developing support systems to keep members informed about issues and events pertinent to Mental Health Counselors. Membership in NYMHCA is multidisciplinary and open to professional counselors, counselor educators, counseling students and others who have an interest in the advancement of the profession of clinical counseling.
