I was elected in 2021 to the Office of PA State Constable for the term of 2022 - 2028.This first year has so far been a training year. I completed the Constable Basic Course provided by PA-PCCD to comply with PA court requirements and completed the Traffic Incident Management training.What is a PA State Constable?Pennsylvania State Constables were founded in the year 1664. Constables are sworn law enforcement officers elected by voters in their district, township, or borough for a term of 6 years and can arrest for felonies or breaches of the peace committed in view, execute warrants statewide, and perform a host of duties such as the transport of criminal defendants, impoundment of loose livestock, or serve as coroner when called by their County District Attorney due to absence of the elected Coroner. A primary duty of Constables is to maintain order and protect the rights of voters at their voting station on election day.Constables are not taxpayer funded and assume the cost of yearly training, police vehicle and maintenance, and personal protective equipment needs. *Philadelphia does not have elected PA State Constables though PA State Constables serve in Philadelphia executing warrants, maintaining order in emergencies, and providing assistance to other law enforcement agencies.

Due to my breadth of knowledge and experience I was also tasked with supporting physical and virtual Windows and Linux Servers. Used V-Sphere to manage virtual servers hosting Windows Domain Servers, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, application, backup, and web servers, and Linux Logging Servers. Managing clients in local and Metro D.C. area. Deploy and manage high availability system for Microsoft Exchange Server. Deploy and migrate from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 and SBS 2008 systems. Use tools to monitor network systems and review logging for attempted intrusions, network performance, and server perfomance. Manage Cisco routers to deny entry to suspect out of CONUS IP's. Am also deploying new cable runs and terminating to connectors and punch down block. Deploy and manage Symantec Endpoint Protection. Manage backup software and tapes (Backup Exec, Arcserve). Provide support to users troubleshooting application and hardware conflicts. Coordinate vendor services and support. Also have deployed open source solutions to meet client needs.

Managed migration from primary Unix environment to a mixed Windows 2003/Unix Server environment including storage servers, Exchange e-mail servers, webserver, and anti-virus server. Migrated from Unix e-mail system to Exchange server 2003, maintained 75 classroom workstations by implementing group policies to provide common desktop environment. Provided lead support to meet all management, employee, and customer needs; maintained Business Technology department website; coordinated the successful migration of DNS addresses within INTERNAP for PA State System of Higher Education DNS addresses.

Provided help desk support on site (West Chester, PA) and remotely for users in Canada, Tennessee, Texas, totaling 175+ node network. Migrated Exchange 5.5 server to Exchange 2000 server and deployed servers to remote sites. Deployed 15 servers serving as Active Directory servers, webservers, Exchange server, storage servers, SQL servers, and application servers. Managed and maintained servers by reviewing log files, managing hard-drive space, and mailbox space.
