As an implementation specialist for Dion Global Solutions, I was responsible for both the application support and implementation of a suite of financial software used by wealth management firms and stockbrokers including "Portfolio" (front office), "Settlement" (back office) and "XGen" (a financial messaging tool).• Developed part of the back-end of a hosted corporate actions system which entailed creating elements of the physical data model, file transport scripts, reports and mapping corporate actions market data (SWIFT) to a reference database.• Performed front office system upgrades for a private banking group and created an extensive installation document that clients and other implementers could refer to.• Developed and lead a training course covering XGen which allowed several senior colleagues from offices around the globe to integrate the software with their own solutions.• As part of a team, I helped to convert settlement, stock pricing and other reports from Crystal Reports to SSRS.
