I love my job as an air traffic controller. I am told regularly that "my job is stressful" and "Who would want to do that", this fires me up! I love being in a job that most people would shy away from. I meet the challenges head-on that air traffic brings, and I work well under high-pressure situations.I'm also a proud member of the united states Air Force, and my future goal is to finish my degree and commission as an officer.I revitalized the training program leading my workplace from 50% to a 90% success rate.I enjoy working with people and collaborating to strive for excellence in the workplace to achieve higher goals. I am working on improving work productivity by advocating for our lower-ranking members to our higher-ranking leaders to improve the training success rate and make sure their needs are met. I plan sequences of aircraft in high-traffic volume situations, including emergencies, where any mistake could be the difference between life and deathI completed my associate's degree in liberal arts and sciences at Chesapeake College I am currently working towards achieving my bachelor's degree in Business administration at AMUI always desire to improve myself; I never want to stop growing. I do not find fulfillment in just meeting expectations nor do I want to work solely for a paycheck. I am passionate about what I do, I want to continue to be an advocate for those who are under me as a leader. I lead by example, I work diligently, and I prepare for every day to ensure I can be relied on no matter what curveball may be thrown my way.
