My main focus in this role is on teaching and mentoring undergraduate electrical engineering students. I also have research interests in UWB antenna arrays, periodic structures, and effective methods in undergraduate engineering education.

Supported various research projects involving HF Over-The Horizon radar (OTH Radar), orbit determination of objects from UHF radar observations, and antenna design.

PhD Research:- Developed new ultrawideband array topologies that are low-cost (planar PCB fabrication), modular, low-profile, dual-polarized, and connect directly to standard unbalanced RF interfaces. Two patents resulted from this work. Masters Research:-Developed novel miniaturized dual-polarized, dual-band patch antenna designs with good axial ratio and wide bandwidth.

Performed feasibility studies on potential microwave sources to be used in a new EPR bridge design. Involved testing the tuning performance of YIG oscillators, and performing extensive literature search on current microwave source technologies such as PLL and direct tuned synthesizers.

Tutored the following subjects in both one-on-one tutoring and group sessions: Calculus 1-4; Differential Equations; Vector Calculus; Linear Algebra; Physics - mechanics, electricity and magnetism, heat waves and optics; Modern physics; Solid State Physics; Circuits; Electronics; Signals and Systems; Electromagnetic Fields and Waves; Also staffed the "drop-in" center, a place where people who needed one-time help on a subject could come in and get help.

Worked with a team developing a quantum computer. Worked on C++ and LABVIEW code and helped design and test microwave circuits.

Modified and tested prototype circuit boards for HVAC systems, and setup and ran long-term simulation/strife tests on HVAC controllers. Learned reflow soldering techniques and general circuit troubleshooting.
