CurrentOver tenure, worked at two different facilities – including Glen Raven and Owens Corning – prior to U.S. Security Associates acquisition. Oversaw physical security of buildings and employees, monitoring security cameras, patrolling facility and grounds in order to prevent and report fires and security breaches, relaying mechanical and electrical issue information on factory floor from employees to maintenance department, and directing incoming phone calls. ► Saved client thousands of dollars as well as potential mechanical and property damage, by reporting air and water leaks, and machinery mechanical issues discovered during course of daily rounds.► Authorize trucks picking up freight, assisting with paperwork and cross checking correct order pickup against bill of lading. Sign-in delivery trucks and assist with paperwork, authorizing access of delivery and raw materials trucks, notifying batch house of raw materials deliveries.► Demonstrated personal initiative by checking trailer number of departing product trucks – in order to ensure that proper loads reached corresponding customer location on time – before practice became policy requirement. Implemented similar tactics allowing transport – involving verifying packing slip bills of lading with bills of lading records at guard shack – despite incorrectly identified trailer numbers.► Streamlined efficiency and productivity of company transportation and logistics operations byallowing drivers – picking up loads with incorrectly matched pre-loaded orders – to pick up other orders scheduled for delivery, following authorization from dispatcher.► Function as liaison between employees and management within union setting, entering employee call-offs into computer template for management review, and contacting maintenance department employees to offer overtime work, in accordance with union regulations.
