I love business.I can remember the first dollar I ever made, well, it wasn’t quite a dollar it was 50 cents. The money came from selling a 40lb bale of straw produced on my family’s farm, I was something like 8 years old or so. This moment is when my business curiosity was sparked, looking for things to create, find or invest in to make my 50 cents bigger became my passion. It’s only fitting that a slightly older version of me would go get a degree in business, yet more interestingly that curiosity and passion got me a cognitive neuroscience degree. Why? Somewhere along the line (and it doesn’t take long) I realized, although the math is crucial in looking at businesses often there’s something more which usually lies in why people do what they do. I love deploying this curiosity and passion on a day in day out basis which frequently pushes beyond just the day.
