I'm a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Molex with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. In my previous work as a Fusion 360 Catalyst, I engaged students, professors, and clubs with Autodesk's Fusion 360 software while serving as a TA for an engineering design course. Last summer through fall, I worked as a hardware engineering intern at Cisco, where I assisted the mechanical and thermal engineering teams with supplier communication, file storage, and spec documents to improve testing automation.The previous summer, I worked as a Systems Engineering Intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where I assisted engineers in keeping the Superblock facility running effectively. Prior to this experience, I was a Mechanical Engineering intern at Glenair, where I supported the engineering team by designing drawings, producing 3D models, and completing engineering reports. I also have experience as a TA, teaching students how to use Autodesk EAGLE and Fusion 360 in separate courses. During my first two years at school, Cal Poly has allowed me to build up my leadership experience as a Summer Orientation Leader and President of Inter Housing Council.For my Senior Design project, I worked in a team to design an assistive walker for a user with limited joint mobility. My tasks included building prototypes in the machine shop, completing technical documentation, and producing CAD renderings.
