In June 2019 I joined a team of 7 highly-skilled IP-professionals (Rasmus Gjesing, Richard Weaver, Krister Mangersnes, Reidun Korsberg, Arnfinn Meihack, Kjell Arne Hoff and myself), who took over Håmsø Patentbyrå from the two brothers Håmsø, thereby becoming Senior Partner in this fantastic workplace. A truly wonderful opportunity and it is a great honour to be able to contribute to the firm in this new role.

Within Håmsø Patentbyrå, my task is to provide various patent services to the company, including:- drafting patent applications and prosecuting them before the EPO, WIPO, OCN, and various other patent offices;- IP filing strategy/portfolio management;- patent validation;- infringement advice and product clearance;- IP landscaping; and- patent opposition and litigation.

Since 2018 NPF changed its name to FONIP (Foreningen for Norske IP rådgivere)(FONIP is the National FICPI association in Norway)I am also member of the political/lobby committee of FONIP.

- Patent attorney trainee (Nov. 2003 - Sept. 2006)- Dutch patent attorney qualified--> passed all Dutch patent attorney exams in first modular sit (notice letter of last exam received in March 2006)

In this position I did Research into various topics, comprising:- Deep-submicron technology exploration (i.e. identifying trends in performance (timing, power, area) in CMOS technologies with olders. communicating this to IC Design communicy within Philips- Various electrical aspects in Deeb-submicron technologies (cross-talk, electromigration, supply noise, etc)- Signal propagation on interconnect (on-chip)- Exploiting fault-tolerant codes in buses for resolving electrical problems- Embedded memory (technology)
