Leads division of Penn State’s Office of Physical Plant (OPP) responsible for guiding campus planning, design of University buildings and landscapes, and space management for all University locations.

As the Director of Campus Planning and Design at Penn State University, my division is responsible for ensuring the highest quality campus planning, architecture, and landscape design at all Penn State locations, including University Park, 19 Commonwealth Campuses, the Hershey Medical Center, and the Dickinson School of Law. The scope of work includes the development and implementation of campus master plans, design review of Penn State projects, development and enforcement of University design standards and guidelines, accountability for architect/engineer selections, and Capital Planning consultation.

As University Planner, I was responsible for leading the development of campus master plans, facilitating building site selections, participating in project feasibility studies, serving as the University authority on municipal zoning, and assuring that projects adhered to the University’s planning principles. University committees served on included the Outdoor Public Art Committee, the Intermodal Transportation Committee, and the Senior Class Gift Committee. I also served as the University representative on the Centre Regional Planning Commission.
