Steve Phillips has extensive experience in building companies that are focused on selling products and services to consumers and businesses. Throughout his career, Steve has had leadership responsibility for virtually every business function in the enterprise. Steve’s predominant experience has been to create and execute business development and selling strategies, and to identify and implement operational improvements in a wide variety of functional areas.In 2011 Steve assumed the role of CEO for Swyft Technology, a startup he co-founded in 2004. As CEO, Steve successfully transformed Swyft into an entirely different business model largely focused on a mobile application for field sales and service. During his tenure, Swyft grew from the idea of using technology to help companies cross-sell and retain its customers, to a unique, fully functioning cloud based platform that provides material value to both enterprise scale businesses as well as small and medium sized businesses.Earlier in his career, Steve held senior executive positions at companies including Countrywide, PennCorp Financial and Grant Thornton CPA’s. His responsibilities at these firms spanned business development, sales and marketing, operations, finance, human resources and corporate strategy. Phillips became a Certified Public Accountant in 1979 and graduated from California State University, Los Angeles in 1977 with a B.S. in Business Administration.
