With a career spanning over three decades, primarily in leadership roles, I have spent the past 25 years driving business improvement, organisational and cultural change within various national and international businesses. Roles have included National Customer Experience Leader for GE Capital and Head of Customer Service and Complaints for Toyota Finance Australia. I created CoachStation in 2010 to influence a world where leadership is a skill, capability and attitude that is a reality in what leaders do, not just what they know. The opportunity to concentrate my time and efforts on my greatest interest and skill - leadership development - have provided many 'a-ha' moments for my clients and myself. A genuine interest and caring for people have been key to my success, aligned with core values of health, trust and making a difference. To date I have coached and mentored over 500 people and leaders at all organisational levels and facilitated workshops for over 2,100 participants.Assisting others to see and feel those moments and learn to influence their teams, managers and others who matter most is what drives me. This was achieved by focusing on technology, systems, culture and most importantly our team. * Senior leader responsible for the customer service, complaints and hardship functions with 3 direct reports and 60 team members in total.* A successful transformation led to outcomes and improvement in all business metrics and KPI's between August 2013 to October 2014 including: Service level (GOS): improvement of +70% - 6% in August 2013 to 78% in August 2014) Customer Surveys: Transactional Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +72 Abandoned Calls: 42% in August 2013 to 2% in August 2014 First Call Resolution (FCR): results >95% (July - October 2014) Complaints resolved same day: 34% in 2013 to 78% in September 2014* Leadership and team development: I developed and facilitated various leadership development programs for all levels of leadership within the business and reinforced the learning opportunity with 1:1 coaching for each team member.* The core focus was to develop a stronger business culture, leadership capability and team focus, whilst embedding a new suite of systems including telephony, call recording/QA, customer survey and related programs."Steve was asked to wear many hats in this role: leader, consultant, contact centre manager and trainer.
