I currently lead a team responsible for managing learning and development at a large public service department. Specific functions include senior executive leadership development, core skills and professional development for over 1800 employees across Australia.

My position is responsible for enhancing DHA’s workplace culture, diversity and employee engagement. This includes actions outlined within DHA’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and delivering initiatives to better reflect the agency’s customers and broader society within the workforce.In this role I developed DHA’s first Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, manage the design and delivery of the agency’s Innovate RAP and oversee initiatives to link employee behaviour, performance and conduct with organisational strategy and culture.

As L&D Manager at L&D, I'm responsible for a fantastic team implementing managerial, technical and core skills development, performance and development policies, compliance training and relationship management across the organisation. I manage the procurement of programs from external providers and the development of training workshops and modules using internal capability. I align development activities to organisational objectives, communicate these activities to employees at all levels and empower individuals to take ownership of their own development whilst providing support and guidance where required. I actively engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers to cultivate productive working relationships and gain an understanding of their challenges and development needs. I also leverage these relationships to identify and create solutions that are not simply ‘chalk- and-talk’ interventions but instead provide realistic, challenging and above all meaningful development activities.

I am currently managing DHA's leadership, personal and professional development programs as well as developing eLearning modules to enhance the delivery of learning to DHA's geographically diverse workforce.

As Client Account Manager in both Sydney and Canberra, I managed the relationship between AIM and its clients in both the private and public sector. I worked closely with organisations to ensure that the development needs of individuals and the organisation as a whole were met.During this time I oversaw the development and implementation of programs to hundreds of participants, including the AHRI award winning management development program for a major healthcare provider.
