As the Executive Director and Global Head of the Enforcement unit for CME Group's Market Regulation Department, Steve is responsible for overseeing the Department's enforcement efforts, managing enforcement attorneys and support staff, and prosecuting market participants in disciplinary actions before CME Group exchanges' disciplinary committees. Steve joined CME Group in 2010 in the position of Enforcement Counsel, and most recently served as Director and Senior Director before assuming his current role. Beginning his career with nearly a decade of public service, Steve previously worked as Deputy General Counsel in the State of Illinois' Department of Central Management Services, and served as an Assistant State's Attorney in the Cook County State's Attorney's Office from 2001 to 2009 in the civil and criminal divisions.
