Working to support the citizens and businesses of the UK to recover from the impacts of the cataclysmic events of 2020 - 2022

The name 'Releasing Success' was derived from the first mission statement that my leadership team at Hereward Community College developed 'Committed to Releasing Success'. Back in 2003 to 2007 we worked really hard at ensuring the students in the most-challenging school in Peterborough had every possible opportunity and encouragement to be successful. That same commitment drives what I do today... helping students, staff, leaders, educational organisations and companies get it right in school.

Delighted to be working with the International schools (CAIE) within the Podar Education Network, predominantly based around Mumbai on the west coast of India. My role is similar to that of a School Improvement Advisor, focused on teaching, learning, curriculum and the international perspective. Working closely with schools in Thane, Kalyan, Powai, Nerul, Wakad and Aurangabad but involved across the network until July 2020.

Responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of this exciting new school that opened in Peterborough in September 2016. All the joys and challenges of opening a new school - and a new type of school - on limited resources. Worked with a great team and Board of Governors to develop a terrific school community focused on making every day successful preparation for the next stage of our students' careers. GPUTC (http://www.gputc.com) has twin specialisms: Engineering and the Built environment where students study at Level 2 and Level 3 alongside GCSEs and A-levels... all with the support of key industry sponsors such as Anglian Water, Larkfleet Homes and Perkins Engines and the backing of Peterborough Regional College and Anglia Ruskin University.

I worked on a variety of projects for Novatia plc in the independent and maintained schools sectors (primary, secondary and new school models: free schools, studio schools and University Technical Colleges). I usually focused on engaging with school leadership teams and technology providers to ensure ICT solutions are as tailored as possible to the needs of the school staff and students. This included training in how-to-use technology in the classroom. Projects took me to... Dulwich, the Isle of Sheppey, Ealing, Crawley, Ealing, Bedfordshire, Hastings, Southwark, Reading, Cardiff, Nuneaton, Bath and Bradford...and a few other places in-between.

Releasing Success Ltd is an educational consultancy specialising in supporting school-based transformation; in organisational & building development, student achievement, teaching & learning and harnessing new technology. Our most recent support project was with Greater Peterborough UTC - a project on our doorstep where we are providing project management, leadership support and ICT specialist advice and I operated as Interim Principal.We worked mainly in the UK but also in support of the Podar Network schools in India.

Led Academy development in key cross-Academy areas - self-evaluation, school specialisms, ICT, e-learning, data, exams, external partnerships, Careers education & guidance

Hereward was a school in Special Measures - only the second in the UK to work with an Interim Executive Board. Team brought about changes that moved the school from 13th(last) to 5th in the Local Authority, and 23% 5+A*-C grades to 65% in 4 years.

Responsible for Teaching & Learning, Staff Development, Initial Teacher Training, Site & Finance in Leics Upper School (1400 14 -19 students)

Responsible for the successful establishing of the post-16 provision at Sawtry. Oversaw the strategic, academic and pastoral development of this initiative

Responsible for Humanities subjects throughout the school 11 - 18
