I was co-responsible for developing the Java judge for the platform and I created the corresponding testing framework and exercises to provide the students with automatic feedback on their submitted solutions.

Dissertation: Enabling process management for loosely framed knowledge-intensive processes (https://biblio.ugent.be/publication/8630543)I did research into the discovery and support of flexible and knowledge-intensive processes (e.g., diagnosis/treatment of patients in the ER). I developed a new process modeling language to model the functional, control-flow, data and resource perspectives of these processes, and subsequently, developed a process mining tool that can automatically discover these processes based on data in the IT-systems of the organization. This tool was validated during a research project at the AZ Maria Middelares hospital in Ghent, where it was used to create an accurate model of the emergency care process and the corresponding domain knowledge. Finally, a process engine was developed that can execute the models and offer runtime support to the process actors (e.g., doctors) with recommendations.
