• Researched and investigated story ideas from various mediums and industries to evaluate their news merits and assigned those on daily basis to reporters and videographers for the station’s evening newscast• Led and planned a weekly franchise called “Making a Difference.” Stories were focused on people or groups making extraordinary contributions into the lives of others in the Puget Sound area• Wrote, published and directed online content for the station’s award-winning website as well as KING 5’s social channels • Designed systems and processes that helped the organization transition efficiently and effectively from one shift to another without losing key information, contacts and opportunities.
