An intensive and immersive course, that provided an excellent introduction into the topic of software development. The course covered subjects such as programming fundamentals, Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development and Object Oriented Programming. Coding experience was split between instructor-led, individual, paired and group programming activities.

This demanding role involved the development and maintenance of store layout and merchandising concepts. Key responsibilities and functions are listed below.• Development of multiple merchandising concepts for national implementation roll outs. This included the creation of generic store layout plans and the associated product group planograms. • The approval of regionally submitted store layout plans. This included batch sign-off works for national re-merchandising roll outs, new stores and major construction projects.• Development of merchandising procedures and communication processes. • Providing training and support to regional and head office based colleagues.• Analytical tasks such as clarifying item range limitations, providing store equipment capacity overviews, store size breakdowns, competitor layout comparisons and store layout feasibility works.• Managerial responsibilities of staff members.• On-site management of store re-merchandising projects.• Ad hoc and seasonal projects relating to store merchandising concepts.
