As part of my SEPA job, privileged to be one of the first CivTech challenge sponsors, which resulted in RiverTrack, an innovative flood alerting system to help inform and empower local communities where larger, traditional flood warning schemes could not be employed. Developing its community-based potential and presence with partners, helping find routes of funding for its use by small communities and supporting technical trials by SEPA were key activities. Incredibly rewarding!
