I've heard it all. I feel invisible. I hate how I look. I am too old to follow my dreams. Life has passed me by. Men don't notice me anymore. I get overlooked for jobs. I have lost all my confidence. And on it goes.Too many women over 50 feel this way, and I have had enough of it. Getting older means being more viable, vibrant, and unforgettable as a woman, not less. We have entered an era where anything is possible, and you don't have to give much thought to how anyone else feels or thinks about you. Ever again. If any of this resonates with you, we will become good friends. My mission in life (now I'm over 50, too) is to help older women regain their confidence, self-esteem, va-va voom and become as sassy as hell. It's time! I do this through coaching and creating confidence-boosting content about mindset, beauty, and makeup. I'm an accredited empowerment coach and teach life coaching skills at the accredited Pure Coaching Academy, so I know a thing or two about how the right coach can change your life. I'm addicted to makeup and skincare (always have been), and it makes me feel fab; it's a mindful practice, too. I've had a beauty column in Top Sante magazine, a dream gig. I qualified as a makeup artist with the amazing David Horne, who has worked on the faces of many very famous people. I am now fixated on showing mature women how to look and feel fab (whatever that means to them).I value equality and diversity, and being the Sussex Regional Chair for the international G100 movement allows me to make a difference. I've been an editor for 20 years and co-author of four books. I now write mindset and beauty content and have been featured in many places, including Top Sante, Happiful, The Guardian, Metro, Carol Roth, Kikki, Brainz, Thrive, Landscape, Trail, and Be Your Own. I volunteer for Beauty Banks, a Brighton-based, country-wide charity which supplies hygiene, skincare and makeup products to vulnerable people. The world is less mean when you feel clean. Motorbikes, snowboarding, and dressmaking are also passions.
