Currently accepting supply chain employers to participate in this complimentary training."Building Organizational Capacity through Developing Employee Skills"​ Conestoga College, in partnership with the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council, Bow Valley College and Douglas College has developed a workplace Training Program to increase Essential Skills training in the supply chain sector. Extensive research across Canada has identified nine Essential Skills which are the skills needed to carry out a wide variety of everyday tasks. They are not the technical skills required by a particular job, rather they are the skills applied to all occupations.The employer benefits to participating in the project include: increase productivity, improve workplace safety, maximize the skills of the existing workforce, enhance workplace efficiency, create a more vibrant and engaged workforce and develop employees'​ transferable skills in order to be more flexible in their jobs.
