I currently serve on the Board of Directors representing the storage facilities of the State of Utah. As a strong leader in the Self Storage industry, I help plan the agenda and topics for the annual meeting to ensure Storage Owners get the best education and resources to help them increase the effectiveness of Self-Storage operations.In an effort to protect our members from legal actions, we keep abreast of legal issues that might affect Utah owners that come to the state legislature. We also work closely with the National Self Storage Association. A major achievement in this role was helping the recently passed legislation that changed the lien law, reducing the number of processes for an auction.
