In my role as Sr. Systems Architect, I installed, configured, and managed VMware vSphere environments across 450+ virtual servers and 55 hosts. I allocated and managed enterprise storage using Dell EMC and Pure Storage SANs and implemented MDM solutions (JAMF and Absolute) to secure mobile devices. I also developed and enforced policies and Group Policy creation and deployment, and managed SIEM (Secureworks).I managed a Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment with 120 servers and 1300+ users and served as the Dell EMC PowerProtect Backup administrator, ensuring all necessary backups were executed. My role included installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, and 2019). As the CrowdStrike EDR and Office 365 administrator, I configured Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) to enhance email security.I implemented and maintained security policies within Office 365 ATP, including anti-phishing, anti-malware, and URL protection features. My responsibilities included maintaining active directory environments for appropriate account allocation, promoting industry-standard password policies, and managing group policy. In my role as a Systems Engineer, I managed Office 365 and Exchange 2010 environments, ensuring seamless email communication and collaboration within the organization. I provided support for the Cisco IP phone system, maintaining reliable and efficient telecommunication services. Additionally, I implemented and managed Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, specifically VMware AirWatch, to secure and control mobile devices within the organization, enhancing overall security. My responsibilities included developing and enforcing policies and conducting Group Policy creation and deployment, which contributed to a robust and compliant IT infrastructure. I integrated MDM solutions with existing security frameworks to further strengthen the organization’s information security posture. Furthermore, I was involved in creating technical how-to documentation, which facilitated user training and streamlined IT processes.

In my role, I maintained and supported the Cisco IP phone system, handling moves, additions, and changes of IP phones and extensions to ensure smooth telecommunication operations. I assisted vendors with hardware and system upgrades for the Cisco IP phone system and managed the acquisition and assignment of fax lines and numbers. I initiated a large-scale project to migrate B1 lines to Cisco VG224 analog voice gateways, reducing costs and enhancing in-house line management flexibility. Under the direction of the CTO, I contributed to cost-saving initiatives by collaborating with a multi-service vendor to identify and remove outdated or unnecessary telephony items.Additionally, I created policies to promote account and network security and managed Office 365 and Exchange 365 administration, including the acquisition, assignment, and relinquishment of Microsoft Office 365 licenses. My responsibilities extended to general maintenance of switches and routers, including VLAN changes, port configurations, and OS/code upgrades. To identify and deter overuse or misuse of company-allocated mobile devices, I automated monthly reporting on user minute and data usage. I implemented, supported, and maintained the SolarWinds web help desk system to streamline IT support processes. Furthermore, I assisted in upgrading Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 to Citrix XenApp 6.5 and added new servers to the Citrix farm as required by business needs. I also created new VMware virtual servers to support Citrix applications and management tasks, ensuring a robust and scalable IT infrastructure.

As a member of the Pfizer Enterprise Technology Help Desk team, I provided first-line technical support for on-site and remote users worldwide. Through effective troubleshooting, I resolved technological issues promptly. I also administered the trouble ticket system and developed applications to enhance help desk processes. As team lead, I managed operations in the absence of leadership.I supported end users by resolving trouble calls, liaised with third-party vendors for equipment and service contracts, and managed mobile device support and inventory. I configured and maintained Numara Footprints and Soffront web help desk systems. Additionally, I developed a Question and Answer database to promote user account security and created a mobile device inventory system. I ensured continuous help desk operations by assuming managerial duties when needed.

As Lead PC Tech, I supported, repaired, and maintained customers’ computer equipment and performed in-home services. I consulted with customers to align services with their needs, driving team sales quotas. I mentored less-experienced team members, promoting growth and supporting PC services sales.My responsibilities included installing hardware and software, troubleshooting and resolving issues, eradicating malware, executing system upgrades, and performing data backups and transfers. I established and supported home Wi-Fi networks, installed printers and drivers, set up in-home devices, and oversaw PC services sales.
