I am in the process of developing my own virtual assistant business - Streamline Online. My aim here is to make business owners lives a little bit easier. I want to use my passion for helping others and my knowledge in providing support in all areas of a business, both big and small, to venture into a avenue of my life, creating new opportunities for myself and creating a new future.I specialise in general admin management remotely; organising and managing your inbox, streamlining your online filing system, learning any specific systems or programs your business uses and utilising all features within this program, social media marketing management, and generally any task that you no longer have the time to prioritise.

I was an administrative assistant in the program and events team at Education Queensland in the lead up to one of the largest events they produce. I was onboarded through a close friend who was aware of my experience as a virtual assistant and knew I would be an asset to the team.Some key parts of the role included email inbox management and organisation, editing and checking websites for technical bugs and general textual mistakes, submitting and processing payroll.

I worked predominately in the classroom teaching my own dance classes to children of all ages and all styles of dance. Some of my most extensive training in the role however was as an assistant teacher. In this role I functioned as a second set of eyes and ears for the teacher to help them best manage the classroom. I also performed this role for over ten different staff members over the years, and so have learnt how to effectively evaluate a situation and jump in in whatever capacity I best see fit, taking into consideration the staff member I'm working with and how they run their class, the age group of the students I am working with, and the impact my stepping in will have on the rest of a class.I also performed some small administrative tasks over the years, including scheduling classes and rehearsals taking into consideration the availabilities of all students and staff members, some customer service in communicating with families to resolve issues or explain studio processes, and some sales work selling costumes and uniforms to students and families.

I worked on an event 'Creative Generation - State Schools on Stage' in my official title dance rehearsal assistant. This role however ventured far beyond just dance, I worked as a personal assistant for all choreographers and managers on the project. This part of the job meant anything from scheduling rehearsals, managing the logistics of 600 students on stage at one time, and taking phone calls on behalf of events staff liaising with venues, catering and parents.

My role in the production cast onboard two of Royal Caribbean's largest cruise ship went far beyond dancing and singing. I was required to undergo training weekly to maintain my extensive knowledge of the ships emergency procedures, my role specifically being to muster over 300 guests into various life crafts, and ensure their safety was the absolute priority. Within my dance specific role, I was the assistant dance captain for my cast, meaning I was responsible for maintaining the integrity of the show at every opportunity, reprimanding cast members if need be, and managing the communications between the ship and the head office back in Miami. Completing all of these tasks to a high level required exceptional time management and organisational skills.
