Led six direct reports, 85 indirect reports, and 40 drivers based in a 230,000 square foot distribution facility and managed a P&L of $3.33 MM/year. Piloted all facets of the business within the entire building, including safety, service, training, staffing, and production. Enhanced organizational efficiency through business planning, asset allocation, and volume trend in delivery and pick-up. * Administered disciplinarian measures and ensured safety compliance by the drivers by inspiring accountability and ownership. Achieved a reduction in the total auto crashes by 60% within the next 12 months, while the injuries fell to seven. Contributed to a saving of over $560,000 on the safety spend from the previous year.
