I am a Project Management and Continuous Improvement SpecialistWith over 20 years of experience, I have led on complex global projects across a wide range of environments, including manufacturing supply chain, SAP deployments and transportation management.At my current employer of 24-years, I’ve progressing through the business from Apprentice to Global Project Manager, spending the last 9 years as a specialist in SAP deployments and SAP optimisation projects.Key Achievements:𝗦𝗶𝘅 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝘁 – Led on multiple, continuous improvement projects over a two-year period across several UK manufacturing locations, using Six Sigma to drive project implementation from initial scoping through to delivery of key project milestones, to deliver individual project savings of £500k + per annum within each project.𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – Ensuring the annual spend of over £24MM across 58 vendors delivered products and services meeting the agreed requirements. By developing a new supplier monitoring and recognition programme, the average performance rating was increased from 69% to 84%, which had an estimated cost avoidance of £1MM per annum.𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – Responsible for deployment and retrofit of SAP to manufacturing locations and distribution centres across EMEA by leading and coaching cross-functional, global teams to translate business requirements into SAP configuration. This enabled successful IT development and deployment, with all locations going fully live to the required timeframes, improving overall business visibility of full end-to-end supply chain data relating to customer orders.𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 – Responsible for coordinating SAP warehousing and transportation improvement activities across the EMEA region. Using project management tools, developing new PowerBi reports and presenting monthly updates to an invited audience of over 200 people, I delivered more than 100 improvement activities per annum across 36 manufacturing locations.𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 - Managing 21 direct employees and 2 quality testing laboratories with a total group budget of over £1MM. I led on regular team reviews to strengthen the internal team communication and implemented monthly cross-functional meetings to build communication across the business to jointly monitor and address quality issues. This resulted in a cost reduction of customer claims by 30% and ensured our products meet the relevant international standards.
