Worked as part of the regional Unionlearn team to meet objectives and targets as set out in national & regional plansAssisted with Unionlearn coordinator – with appropriate duties including:Coaching , supervising and mentoring regional Union Support Officers to ensure that regional support work was delivered in line with best practice and agreed standardsSupporting on learning and skillsAdvising on key learning and skills developments ,Provided briefings , updates and intelligence of learning and skills issues. Provided more in-depth briefings , intelligence and support on specialist areas Prioritised activities, reaching and supporting the disadvantaged who have had fewest opportunities & qualifications Ensured new areas of interest and importance where identified , developed and delivered inline with regional operational plan and strategy. Management of financial resources , including responsibility for monitoring relevant budgets and providing timely and accurate reports Helped identify and develop external opportunities,inc development & organisation of regional funds.•Deputised for the regional development coordinator•developed specialist knowledge in specific areas of learning activities•Helped secure the close and supportive involvement of key stakeholders including unions , providers and employers , representing Unionlearn to learning and skills organisations at a local and regional level.•Helped build capacity on learning and skills •Supported unions ULF funded activity in the region and trade union learning centres.•Contributed to the development and support of regional networks of union learning representatives , active participation on regional learning and skills bodies.•Contributed case studies of union learning activity•Provided union support data and management information.monitor and quality assure the regional union learning supported by Unionlearn•Provided information and reports

Main duties included working closely with Trade Unions to help identify, coach, support and Train Union members in the role of a Union learning representative
