My passion is to help companies grow. Managing a team of sales professionals is a cornerstone of my experience and success. I have done this in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Asia. I started as the first salesperson at Bloomberg L.P. when there were only 20 people in the company. My international leadership skills were honed at Bloomberg over a twenty year career. As the first employee sent overseas, I went to London to originate the European office. I began as the only salesperson for the entire region. Over the next nine years, I built a 200 person sales organization located in fifteen different offices throughout EMEA. Additionally, I was Branch Manager for 450 employees in the European region including Sales, Support, News, Operations, and Administration. My decision to leave Bloomberg was based on a desire to help smaller organizations grow and to deploy my deep management experience with small to medium sized companies. I have done this successfully with startups such as The Datamyne and Revere Data and more established firms like Trepp and Gerstein Fisher. In all cases, I was able to grow revenues by managing a sales teams’ pipeline, budgets, targets, and compensation. My last role as Head of Enterprise Sales for SRS Acquiom was a combination of product development and business development. Working with a team, we determined a successful suite of products to offer different constituents of our strategic client base then roll these out as part of an enterprise strategy.
