Sep 2013- Present: Senior Field Engineer. Distributions Engineer currently working with the Electric System Manager supporting the Towns of Huntersville, Cornelius and Pineville to assist in the management of their municipally owned power distribution system(s). Mar 2009 – Sep 2013: Field Operations Engineer. Worked as a part of the Operations Team, the primary goal of this current position is to oversee the fleet of diesel generators that are company owned including all maintenance and operational readiness issues

Distribution Design. Staff augmentation thru Synergetic Design Inc.(now UC Synergetic) Contract services for Duke Energy Corporation as a Distribution Design Engineer. Work in all aspects of designing new or upgrading existing primary and secondary distribution power facilities. Working knowledge of NESC clearance and compliance codes, overhead and underground distribution standards, commercial and residential lighting designs, also worked in subdivision design group for about 1 year and still work small subdivisions not large enough for the Central Design Group. Coordinate make ready projects with other utilities, mainly AT&T and Time Warner Cable. Worked with STORMS file management program, Expert Designer engineering design tool, Designlink GIS mapping tool and Microstation drawing tool.
