I have taught Music in Massachusetts Public Schools for 32 years. I have done instrumental, choral and general music classes at the high school level. Having directed concert, jazz and marching bands as well as general and specialty choral ensembles. My groups have won awards in multiple states and have performed in the Orlando area more than ten times. As a conductor, it was my honor to serve as the music director for community bands in Petersham, MA and guest director in Orange, MA for over 20 years and was chosen to conduct the All-State Massachusetts Community Band on the Hatch Shell in Boston.Active in musical theater, I served as music director for the school's annual musicals and have performed in pit orchestras in numerous community theater productions since 1990. As a composer I have composed and arranged numerous works for choral and instrumental ensembles, including settings of original lyrics, Frost and Shakespeare works and a full requiem, as well as a full length musical. After retirement (in two years), I plan on working towards getting my music performed and published and to connect with music education collegiate programs and guest conduct for various ensembles in the New England area.
