Kingston URC manages a conference centre (‘Richard Mayo Centre’) with various rooms and 2 halls, which it lets to various organisations on both short term and a longer-term basis. This requires working with a large array of different people all the time, as different customers use the venue; it also means troubleshooting technology problems as they arise and often under pressure (last minute presentation problems or Wi-Fi etc.). I was promoted to Operations Manager after four successful years as Assistant Premises Manager.- Internet and PC support, CMS and cost analysis- Working closely with clients to understand and deliver requirements and event planning- Aiding Centre Manager with lettings, customer queries and budget analysis. - Deputising when Centre Manager on leave- Maintaining the fabric of the premises and managing sub-contractors and suppliers

- Creation of new team Intranet site using HTML and ASP; developing content for site as appropriate.- Development and maintenance of SQL Database, use of SharePoint, training of sites to other users.

- Assisted in developing global intranet, creation of UK sites, trained various groups and built and maintained specific web sites and CMS.- Promoted to part of UK Solutions Delivery, working with Livelink, SharePoint and related CMS- Knowledge Management and various Intranet and Extranet projects

- Received full bursary and award for outstanding performance and contribution for the year.- Launched and became Editor of internal new developments magazine within Xerox UK.- Liaising with Xerox business partners to introduce new products and services into the consumer domain.
