    Part of the senior management team I manage Sigma’s national DC and have responsibility and accountability for the site, team performance and safety standards across Australia, all labour and transport activity – including team training and continuous improvement projects and management of 3PL partners to ensure service delivery to our standards. All external audits have delivered an outcome of 98% or greater.Continuous Improvement• Visited China and worked with the manufacturers to assess packaging and pallets to reduce waste, resulting in waste reduction of 70%• Implemented Continuous Improvement processes with the team, enabling me to improve what is in my control and by constantly reviewing and changing working practices that are not adding value• Managing 3PL operations across Australia and NZ• Our business is certified to ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Standards, I have a good understanding of all these practises
