I've been interested in vehicles and Electrics since I was a child. I started helping out a local auto electrician I reached out straight from education. I enrolled myself in a 3 year course and gained an NVQL3 diploma in Auto electricics in 2009. By then I was working on a variety of different vehicles for a company called Vehicle Electrical Services. Here I learnt fault finding skills, diagnostic skills, Air conditioning experience, customer service and a whole range of vehicle electrical knowledge. I stayed at VES for around 8 years but wanted to extend my knowledge. I started working for Railability Ltd in 2013 working in development of the latest projects adhering to rail standards, Diagnosing and Rectifying faults, using PCAN routers and picoscopes to monitor can signals and installing complete RCI systems, camera systems, GPS modules and various CAN networks to a wide range of different vehicles including Trucks, Diggers and Dozers. After 10 years with Rail-ability I felt it was time to move on, January 2023 I accepted a position at Truck crane and marine as their Auto Electrician after a member of staff fell seriously ill. Now back on his feet it was great to have my own fingerprint on some fantastic Cranes. May 2023 I was offered a great opportunity at JCB which I'm extremely proud of. I'm currently a member of the E&C engineering team, helping to Diagnose and rectify faults over a wide range of fantastic new Equipment currently in Development and in the field.
