My responsibilities focused on the receipt of new change on behalf of our clients in our Funds and Wealth spaces, as well as internally from our operational or corporate teams, and regulatory change. I was responsible for reviewing new changes that came in, working with key stakeholders in both operations, build and change teams to complete an impact assessment, allowing for the change to progress to approval, ahead of delivery. I was also responsible for managing a team of business analysts to complete similar processes. More recently this role has transformed into a Portfolio Management Lead, where I am responsible for reviewing and impact assessing all change within various portfolios of work.

I was responsible for the rolling out of a new Wealth proposition for a new client that we were due to onboard. My small team were responsible for the setting up of processes to support the middle and back office operations of fund management. This included the monitoring of market deals to brokers and execution of mutual fund orders on behalf of the fund managers. Once live, the role developed into supporting the rollout of the remaining phases of the project, including operational readiness, testing and the migration of retail clients onto the platform.

I was responsible for the creation of the standards by which SS&C would document procedures within low level BPM flows. This resulted in the creation of a BPM Centre of Excellence team that I managed, and the transition of 1,000s of .pdf procedures into BPMN.

The team was responsible for the creation of a new D2C proposition, my responsibilities were to document requirements for each feature of the website, adhering to definition of ready acting as SME and QA. This was completed within an agile framework with fortnightly sprints, working closely with all parties to ensure that all stories were progressed within each sprint.

Responsible for implementing change on behalf of the Dealing Services department, by seeing through to completion new operationally led changes as well as incoming client and regulatory change. I worked closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts on a wide variety of changes and completed operational readiness on behalf of the department.

Dealing Services - Placing deals received by post, fax and online services into core systems ahead of required valuation points. Quality checking work processed and ensuring that all dealing is correct. This evolved into also training new starters as well as reviewing quality across the department to identify trends.
