Consulted with local and state government stakeholders and community to renew the Regional Catchment Strategy for the Port Phillip & Western Port region.

I delivered Willoughby's natural area management program for bushland, which included plan development, stakeholder coordination, reporting and project analysis. I also assisted with coordinating the bushland interpretive program that delivered field based excursions and in-class incursions. In this temporary role, I delivered Council's bushland interpretive program to local schools, community centers, and Willoughby residents. Here I built ongoing working relationships with key stakeholders including school coordinators, community group managers, senior Council staff, and residents. I provided engaging guided bushwalks, school excursions, class presentations, environmental workshops and promotional material.Key Achievements• Project manager of the ‘Our Local Wildlife’ Storybook Competition for Year 5 students. I gave presentations at ten schools, judged more than 250 entries, assisted in the production of a compilation book and was MC for the book launch.• Coordinated of a group of 55 volunteers for an Optus Rockcorps volunteer activity to rehabilitate a bushland reserve. Organised work plans, risk assessments, staff schedules, tools, and plants.• Created and delivered an interactive game for local high school students to discover issues relating to stormwater and strategies to help the local environment.

Led teenagers on camping expeditions throughout New England and eastern United States. I encouraged group participation and self-confidence in campers. At the conclusion of summer camp season, I continued on as a Group facilitator for adult groups for team building and adventure programs.Key Achievements:• Led a group of campers on a nine-day trip to Washington D.C volunteering in homeless shelters and soup kitchens helping the underprivileged.• Coordinated a group of campers on a seven-day horseriding tour of the Shenandoah Valley.

Directly monitored and supported a group of eight Year 9 students and also assisted with the supervision of the sixty other students participating in the intensive 10-week King Island Program. My greatest achievement was leading a group of 20 students on a seven-day hike around King Island from Currie to Grassy.

I assessed planning permit applications for the requested removal of native vegetation. This required effective communication and conflict resolution skills when deaing with residents. I also liaised with bushland contractors and community groups to deliver work programs.Key Achievement• Created a self-guided walking trail for three large remnant bushland reserves, including the installation of numbered posts and accompanying walking trail notes.
