• Carried out multiple audits on site across the Explosives Magazine, Traffic Management Plant and Guarding at the Process Plant. Compiled reports outlining findings and made key recommendations to management.

• Responsible for the management and enforcement of WA Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations on a large scale iron ore operation (mobile and fixed plant) with over 800 employees on site.
• Carried out mining inspections daily and liaised closely with site personnel in identifying and resolving potential and current site issues and concerns relating to OHS&E and other key operational areas.
• Assisted Production Department with various issues, initiatives and projects and ensured compliance with all statutory and regulatory mine operations acts, controls and guidelines.
• Acted in the position of Deputy Registered Manager during the Registered Managers absence.
• Reviewed mine site procedures and plans (traffic management) and updated as needed. Followed up on updated plans and tracked performance, safety and general feedback from stakeholders.
• Managed, implemented and monitored multiple on site projects (WA Road Rules to Priority Rules) and coordinated over 800 employees through full training regime in line with project requirements.
