I am a highly motivated Shift Manager currently working in a low/medium volume manufacturing and assembly environment leading teams across day and night shifts concurrently.I possess a wide range of skills, particularly in various manufacturing techniques in CNC machining, tube forming and punching, laser cutting, welding and surface finishing. I pride myself on great attention to detail alongside effective problem solving skills. My team leadership skills in Kaizen workshops have reaped great benefits to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost for my current employer. I have experience working alongside design, quality, planning and procurement for new product introduction and I have also led projects for investment and implementation of capital equipment. I am able to communicate and work effectively with external stakeholders such as suppliers and customers. I have an HNC in Mechanical Engineering and recently have completed an ILM Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership with Distinction.
