Using a Hitachi S-3400N Scanning Electron Microscope to capture data for scientific reports and publications. Filling the on-site NMRs with Liquid Nitrogen and Helium. Changing compressed gas cylinders. CAD design and printing using Fusion 360. Electrical repair and wood/metal work.

Liaising with technicians and supporting academics to analyse and problem solve the new student experiments, providing better remote and face to face teaching.

Designing and programming a Python based simulation of a furnace for the MONICALC project and collected data from laboratory based experiments. With little prior knowledge about furnaces or simulation I proved a reliable and adaptable employee, who created a functioning simulation in the short time span I was given. I also gave accessible presentations about research to industry professionals and the European Union's EIT.

Voluntary First Aider and Treasurer for Royal Holloway St John Ambulance Unit. Provide first aid cover for the charity and gained a qualification to practice first aid. This was a front facing and team based role that required me to treat a diverse range of patients in a respectful, calm and controlled manner while cooperating with team members in stressful situations. I also provided training support and financial record keeping for the universities society as treasurer, where I applied to the university for new training equipment. Successfully applied for a university grant where the society received £1500 worth of new training.
