As part of the management team I help shape the company by providing strategic technical input to our operations. Responsible for facilitating, managing and delivering the DDK hardware, software, and service development roadmaps, in line with company and customer requirements. Working closely with internal departments and other companies to increase and nurture a diverse network of service providers

Responsible for project execution and client liaison for assigned projects. Accountable for the project's success in terms of client satisfaction, safety, and financial performance.Main project specifically involves the supply of offshore ROV services and the day to day management of this service. Includes responsibility for all assigned equipment, operations personnel and resources; ensuring adherence to Client and Company's HSEQ standards; and regular reporting both internally and externally.

Responsible for a small team of dedicated office and workshop professionals providing subsea tooling solutions worldwide. Leading, developing and unlocking the potential of a multi-disciplined team. Accountable for the Intervention Service Line’s budget including CAPEX spend on new tools, requiring a strong financial aptitude. Constant drive to improve our ways of working by identifying potential and making considered changes to processes to realise efficiencies. Working with other departments to provide a high quality customer experience

Providing bespoke engineered solutions for remote subsea intervention.Responsibilities include concept and engineering studies; detailed design of solutions; cost, time, resource estimates; following the manufacturing process; system testing; client and subcontractor liaison; on-site installation support. Nominated and selected to attend the Subsea 7 Global Explorer programme, a programme focusing on the professional development of high potential individuals. Improving leadership skills; awareness of self, others and the organisation; career management and planning; driving improvement by questioning, challenging and seeking opportunities. Involved in Subsea 7’s Remote Intervention Community of Excellence. Member and previous chair of the SUT+ committee. Active STEM ambassador. Continuing to work towards Chartership with the IMechE.

Accepted onto the Subsea 7 Graduate Engineer Development Programme which entailed four rotations around different departments of company, along with off-the-job training.Rotations in Projects, Vessel Support Team, Intervention & Autonomous Systems and Bundles departments. Opportunities to gain offshore construction experience on Subsea 7 vessels. Responsibilities included writing installation procedures; providing guidance offshore; input to tenders; FEED studies; engineering calculations, analysis and design.Off-the-job training involved three, two-week sessions with the global Subsea 7 graduate community covering a range of technical topics including pipelines, diving operations, welding, isolations, flexibles, umbilicals and risers. Also included an overview of sales & marketing, SCM and legal & contracts.Completed BOSIET and MIST training. Participated in the APM Project Challenge. Continued in my role as a STEM ambassador. Started working towards Chartership on the IMechE Monitored Professional Development Scheme (MPDS).

Worked on a North Sea platform redevelopment project. Gained a mix of technical and commercial exposure including analysis of weight reduction methods and power generation strategies; composing invitation to tender documents; carrying out life cycle costing analyses; assisting with the development of new change management documentation.
