Acting Licensing Manager (maternity cover from July 2018)• Line manager for a team of three, responsible for the monitoring and reporting on conformity of Professional Engineering Institutions (PEIs) of the Engineering Council; • Responsible for planning and delivery of licence reviews of PEIs in accordance with Engineering Council standards;• Led on the successful implementation of a risk-based approach to licensing, including the revision of all key documentation; • Lead staff member at the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC), establishing and maintaining positive relationships with both Chair and Deputy Chair, responsible for ensuring all decisions/actions are carried out, and determining agendas for future meetings;• Responsible for organisational competence for key licensing stakeholders including the planning and delivery of seminars, workshops and training sessions.Senior Licensing Executive • Lead staff member at licence reviews, responsible for producing the visit report and ensuring consistency across the monitoring of all PEIs; • Contribute and provide secretariat to the Quality Assurance Committee (scheduling meetings, drafting reports, and taking minutes);• Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders across all stages of the licence review process (e.g. Engineering Council volunteers, staff at PEIs); • Development of online content to ensure moderation across volunteer pool.
Chartered Director & Cpd Manager
Management of the application process for the Chartered Director application process. This includes matters of eligibility, the review of candidate portfolios, scheduling their interview, and overseeing the release of results.As interviews are facilitated by existing “C Dirs”, I also manage the ‘interviewer panel’ ensuring there is sufficient cover for all interview dates scheduled throughout the year.
