For the last 15 years I have been in the role as development officer for a community based sports and youth work project. The main thrust of this work has been, Increasing participation, creating new programmes and finding funding.60/70% of the total turnover for the project came from funding streams. Approximately £60k was required each year, just for the project to survive. In addition to this work the project needed grants for equipment, residentials, heritage projects. I was also instrumental in fund raising for a variety of projects and organisations achieving success in grant bids for buildings, equipment and revenue Through SJTraining i now development projects for clients, including grant bids, project plans, budgets
