Responsible for the overall management & strategic vision of Kgb's global operational technology footprint and associated staff base including management of the groups multi million dollar technology budget. Role includes the management of an extensive global team that spans numerous countries and technology disciplines necessary to successfully underpin Kgb's core business activities. Ensuring that the technology footprint is delivered in a streamlined manner whilst maintaining high quality and resilience is at the heart of the core values of the role. Responsible for the overall global technical delivery and strategic vision of a nimble technology focused company that strives for excellence in delivery within its field. Cost effective, agile solution delivery is at the heart of the ethos of the company to ensure suitable delivery and service provided to its customer base around the globe. The role demands suitable knowledge of emerging technologies spread over numerous disciplines to deliver high quality technical solutions to meet various customer demands.

Responsibilities include the management of the global converged SLA driven network that supports in excess of 1 billion multi-media converged transactions annually and the associated teams that span several continents.Management of a multi-million dollar budget that allows delivery of a carrier grade private backbone, presenting financial business cases to senior executive team members to obtain project sponsorship and approval for initiatives scoped aligned with business objectives.Providing strategic leadership and visionary thought process of the underlying network architecture leading to multi-million dollar project initiatives.Providing guidance and mentoring to team players where appropriate to allow the adoption of a global mentality whilst demonstrating high value output for the global business landscape. The post demands a disciplined approach towards operational activities to ensure the underlying transport network is suitably serviced and protected.

This role demanded a highly creative lead architect that consistently produced resilient and scalable designs that met with the global business demands. The designs and accompanying technical documents spanned several disciplines that initially were centred around the core product delivery but more recently encroached on additional web based transactional elements that complemented the traditional voice based service. The creation of business cases that demonstrated the key integration elements, ROI and resulting cash-flow was essential for the senior level of the organisation. The role also required development of the global solutions engineering teams hat were responsible for handling and developing over 300+ contracts of leading global brands.
