In my current role as a Risk and Remediation Associate, my responsibilities include gathering data for internal control tests; evaluating this information to conclude if the control is suitable and utilised effectively; and relaying this information to the relevant department. I have experience quality checking employee work and ensuring we have evidence of completed due diligence on clients. This includes, but not limited to: checking for client identification; AML documentation; proof of beneficiaries; letter of authorities; and completing credit checks on incoming and outgoing payments. I understand the implications of errors within the company - including the potential CASS or GDPR breaches, client dissatisfaction, and reputational consequences. Above all, my main strength is my work ethic and my ability to hit targets and SLAs. This is reflected in that employers have progressed me internally on separate occasions. As Assistant Manager for Travelodge, I achieved over 98% average on all Health and Safety, Security, and Cash Audits. In 2014 and 2015, I hit all KPIs at two separate hotels, and reached the highest historical customer satisfaction scores for Scarborough Travelodge.I am proud of the fact that employers have consistently trusted me with what are often complicated or high-risk tasks, even outside of my day-to-day duties. While at Travelodge, the company entrusted me with integrating ISS housekeepers into Travelodge via TUPE; carrying out HR investigations for other hotels; and overseeing the opening of a new hotel. During the coronavirus pandemic, True Potential selected me to work permanently on-site to guarantee the continued success of the company.I am always willing to undergo any necessary training.
