Working in a small, multi-role team to design and develop novel technology for the oil and gas sector.My role encompasses the full development cycle from early concept to build, testing and reviewing results. I acted as lead on the design of company's data acquisition systems, selecting sensor hardware and programming all necessary software in LabVIEW. I have contributed to engineering and quality systems and procedures, drawing from experience in previous roles.Additionally in this role I have managed junior engineers, provided internal training and acted as field engineer both on and offshore.

Electro-mechanical design engineer, developing electrical slip rings for the transfer of power, high-speed data and RF signals in military land and aerial vehicles. Designing for MIL-SPEC and Def Stan defined vibration, shock and climatic environments. Specifying mechanical and electrical interfaces for integration within the larger system and working to meet customer defined signal isolation and loss requirements.

Research, Design and Development engineer, working on design and test projects as well as providing engineering support to the manufacturing facility and worldwide operations. The role provided exposure to a variety of well completion product lines including packers, liner hangers, safety vales and flow control tools.

Following on from the previous placement, responsibility and project involvement were increased.
